ISUG serves the Sybase user community by acting as an information channel, an advocate for user issues, and as a force to help determine Sybase product direction. With enthusiastic and knowledgeable members and strong support from Sybase, ISUG helps to sponsor local user group activities, a bi-monthly technical journal, a speaker bureau, worldwide traveling roadshows, one to two annual user conferences, and much more. The group's goals include providing a constantly expanding list of membership benefits to DBAs and developers. It also supports a communication network between users and Sybase management. ISUG's integrated user groups operate locally, regionally, and worldwide -- encouraging creative and insightful new approaches to using Sybase technologies. Sybase User Groups are an excellent way for users to share solutions to common application issues, industry-specific development issues, and to provide insight and support. Join ISUG now! The International Sybase User Group (ISUG) now fully supports PowerBuilder User Groups (PBUG) and welcomes PBUG members to join ISUG. For more information, visit the ISUG Web site. |
The ISUG Technical Journal
One of the main benefits of being an ISUG member is a free subscription to the bi-monthly "ISUG Technical Journal," a color magazine featuring articles by user group members and Sybase programmers. These articles provide practical advice, tips, case studies, and techniques for DBAs and developers. The journal also covers user group news, conference reports, and brief articles on new services being provided to users. Selected articles from the journal are available for public access through the ISUG Web site. Members have online access to the full Journal archive. |
