Using your Passport:
Your Sybase Education Passport is easy to use. As soon as you receive your Passport number, simply determine the courses you want to take. Then call 1-800-8-SYBASE, provide your Passport number, and sign up for any class(es) during your Passport year. When you arrive at the Sybase Learning Center, just present your Passport number along with a picture ID. Enrolling for training has never been easier.

Renew your Passport:
Enjoy substantial savings when you renew your Passport prior to thirty days of its expiration date, and pay only $7,000 U.S.

• The Sybase Education Passport lets the one named student attend an unlimited number of classes for one year at any North American Sybase or Authorized Education Partner Learning Center or via SyberLearning LIVE™
• Classes must be completed in curriculum-path order.
• Cannot be combined with other discounts, offers, or promotions.
• Valid for use only for Sybase Education developed and delivered courses, and only for US and Canadian SyberLearning LIVE classes or at US and Canadian Sybase and Authorized Education Partner Learning Centers. Passport may not be used for any other courses resold or offered by Sybase or other organizations and partners.
• Training must be taken within 12 months from date of activation.
• Activation must occur within 90 days from purchase date, or Passport will automatically be activated.
• Passports must be purchased using a credit card or purchase order.
• Learning Center locations are subject to change without notice at the discretion of Sybase, Inc. and its Partners.
• Not all courses are offered at every US and Canadian Sybase and Partner Learning Center or via SyberLearning LIVE
• 50% cancellation fee applies to cancellations made within eleven business days of class start date or failure to attend class.
• Cancellation fee must be paid before registering for future classes.
• No cancellation is confirmed until a cancellation number is provided.
• Student must have Passport number to register for classes.
• For classes conducted at a Learning Center, student must show photo ID at the time of training.
• Printed course materials will only be distributed to Passport holders who register for, attend and complete training class.
• Sybase Certified Professional exam voucher is non-transferable.
• Customer will be invoiced for the total amount at the time of purchase; (if PO or PA option is used, payment terms are NET 30). If payment is not received within 30 days, Passport is rendered null and void and any classes taken will be invoiced at full list price.
• Training delivered to a student using a Passport may not be shared with or attended by another student.
• Registration for SyberLearning LIVE classes using a Passport must be made at least four (4) business days before class start date.
• Renewal must be ordered before current Passport expires.
• Special terms and conditions for class cancellations and SyberLearning LIVE class event attendance apply.
• A Passport is non-refundable; dollars cannot be transferred to other purchases (see "Transferability").
  • Transferability: A Passport is authorized for use only by the assigned student. If Passport student leaves purchaser's employ, purchaser is responsible for notifying Sybase by e-mail at registrars@sybase.com or by fax at 1-978-369-2883. Purchaser then has the option to transfer unused Passport credit balance (Pass price less the greater of the sum of the list prices of classes attended OR the purchase price times number of days held divided by 365) to the purchase of a new Pass at the then current list price.

Sybase Education strongly recommends that you take advantage of the Fast Track to PowerBuilder package and attend Fast Track to PowerBuilder Part II 2-6 months upon completion of Part I.
